Once upon a time, in a small village nestled between lush green hills, there lived a curious young boy named Raju. Raju had a reputation for asking questions that no one else dared to ponder. His favorite spot was under the ancient banyan tree near the village temple.
One sunny afternoon, while sitting under the banyan tree, Raju noticed an old man with a long white beard sitting beside him. The old man's eyes twinkled with wisdom, and Raju couldn't resist striking up a conversation.
"Sir," Raju began, "what is the secret to happiness?"
The old man smiled kindly and replied, "Happiness, my boy, is like the shade of this banyan tree. It is always there, but sometimes we are too busy searching for it to notice."
Raju thought about this for a moment and then asked, "But how can I find this happiness?"
The old man pointed to a small bird perched on a branch above them. "Do you see that bird, Raju?"
Raju nodded.
"The bird is happy because it doesn't worry about the past or the future. It lives in the present moment, singing its song without a care in the world. To find happiness, my boy, learn to live in the here and now, just like that little bird."
Raju realized the wisdom in the old man's words. From that day forward, he stopped worrying about what had happened before or what might happen in the future. He focused on enjoying each moment, just like the bird singing above him.
As the years went by, Raju became known for his infectious laughter and radiant happiness, and he shared the old man's wisdom with everyone he met. The village, once filled with worries, soon became a happier and more peaceful place, all thanks to Raju's kutty (small) story under the banyan 🌳 🏡
